Metaphase defined a new sports bottle paradigm for Gatorade with “E.D.G.E” – Ergonomically Designed Gatorade Experience with a choke hold grip, power grip zones, and a mouthpiece designed to fit your lips precisely. The planted cap is based on anthropometric study of the lip shape and size, and a consumption study. The power Grip Zone “choke-hold” is scaled to accomodate hand sizes in the 5th to 95th percentile. Contours on the main bottle body are scaled to fit finger diameters and drive a sports equipment look and feel that’s all gear.
