METROPOLIS magazine asked Metaphase to "develop a portable workplace that would carry a laptop, cell phone, camera, iPod, a tape recorder, cables, backup batteries and chargers, a currency converter, a memory stick, notebooks, pens, and a passport and paper documents in a shoulder bag--that’s 18 lbs. of stuff."
